  Bill Peterson and the Diamonds has had over 200 players move on to the College ranks in the last 4 years alone, an additional 25 players have been drafted or signed professionally. Nate McLouth - Earns his first Gold Glove Award!
    Major League Baseball and Rawlings today announced that outfielder Nate McLouth has been named to the 2008 National League Gold Glove team.

    McLouth made a total of 155 appearances (150 starts) in the outfield in 2008 and made just one error. He led National League center fielders with a .997 fielding percentage and ranked second behind Milwaukee's Ryan Braun in fielding percentage among all NL outfielders.
